Brewers Notes
Dear beer lovers, Fall is my favorite time of year to brew. We have just tapped our Oktoberfest. It is big, rich, and malty and slightly higher in alcohol...so sure to make you festive. On October 1st we will be tapping this years Pumpkin Ale. It's an amber ale brewed with real pumpkin and seasonal spices. And best of all hunting season is coming up soon. That means that Big Cock Country IPA will be open season (sorry couldn't help myself). We will tap the BCC-IPA on October 25th at 4:30 (opening day). So put on some orange, put down your shotguns and bring in a tailfeather and get a buck off of your pint of BCC-IPA.
Thanks
Paul, Brewer

Where is Your "Firkin" Beer?
Fresh Cask Conditioned Beer. Beer removed after fermentation but while the yeast is still somewhat active. The beer is dry-hopped (hops added after fermentation) and a small amount of sugar is added so that the yeast will consume the sugar and create carbonation. Then the beer is cold cellared so the beer can condition.
We only server firkins on Thursday night! So make sure you are here early!!
This week's Firkin is dry hopped pale ale.
